Soul City CDC started with an idea that even if we only planted one flower, we would have made the world slightly better and more beautiful. This is still our belief. At a minimum, we will add beauty to the world! Our full mission is to:

Help build a thriving, sustainable community that fosters a sense of belonging, engagement, and fulfillment and serves as a model for other communities.

To accomplish this, the CDC will focus on four core areas:

1. Sustainable food sources and agricultural production

2. Sustainable living opportunities

3. Educational and cultural learning activities

4. Vibrant and unifying community spaces

By investing in four core areas that support community sustainability, we not only improve the quality of life for current residents but also work to ensure a connected and brighter future for generations to come in Soul City!
